I know they "say"'not to put bumpers in the cribs but my son moves around so much in there when he cries that he bangs up his head and face on the bars 😟 and hits his soft spot and I don't want him to really hurt himself.. I'm thinking of just doing it. Hell he's slept with me the past almost 3 months and they say not to do that either. He could really hurt himself if I don't put them in. Do any of you ladies do something else instead to prevent this? Maybe I should ask his doctor and see what she saids.

Yeah my son kicks him self up and moves around so his head is against the bars and just shoves his head against them cause that's how he positions him self I try to move him every time I check to make sure he's not up against it with his head. @Abeals04

Yeah my son is a head banger it's really bad right now I even called his drs he bangs his head on his crib for like five minutes there was one day he was in his room and we were playing he went and sat in the corner and just started banging his head off and on for an hour and the dr says well if he isn't injuring himself then just wait till your next appointment apparently it's a way to self soothe and if they are teething it's a distraction from their teeth I don't like it either way but the bumpers we have still allows air in but it just adds extra padding
My son is a crazy sleeper too and loves to smash his face in the corner of the crib. We have a mesh bumper too and it works well. I tested it myself by trying to breathe through it first lol
I'll put him one way and he'll end up the complete opposite wAy in a totally different spot. His crib is huge! And he moves so damn much I feel bad he had these red marks in his head and one near his eye 😕 @Bonniesue @abeals04 and @Lindseylove1103 I'll have to look into them, thank you
they have the mesh breathable crib bumpers !
They say no bumpers due to babies suffocating and getting stuck with the extra material. I don't know if I'd do it for those reasons as I'm a chicken lol. Have you tried placing him at the very bottom?

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps?
