So I have the choice of a VBAC or c-section. Induction is off the table unless I go over 40 weeks. Last time I had an emergency c-section. Both have pros and cons! Decisions decisions!

Wow you’re very lucky u get to choose .. my first pregnancy wasn’t an emergency csection but with this new dr , I have no choice but to do another csection. It’s extremely disappointing. I think you should do whatever you feel is safe for both you and baby.

I had a vbac at 40+3. Was induced. The experience was incredible.

@mommy.of.two, @nzxo_, @_sheriee,

I'm going to think about it and discuss with my husband. I am a statistical person and what I was told even if I go into labor; there's only about a 60% chance of that going that way. I'm a planner to begin with. Have a 1 year old at home. And my husband is a truck driver on the road daily all over the state. Today when I threw out the labor scenario he says "I'll head back and meet you at the hospital." I love him but really what about me? Whose an hour from the hospital. His work is down the street 😂 then he says "how about your mom." My mom who is going to watch our daughter and doesn't do interstate hwys 😂😂

My first pregnancy, I couldn't get a hold of him on the road right away when I got rushed from the local hospital to the one with a NICU near his work. Who would of thought that would happen at 33 weeks. He's now more vigilant and has learned to answer his phone. For example, I had a flat tire today. He answered. Not like he could help me but at least he knew and that I was safe.

@mommy.of.two, in weighing my options and the fact we live almost an hour away. My husband is gone all day for work and can take hours to get back. I am leaning towards c section because it's more controlled

@gracelynnsmama, I think I want to push. Only because I really want the experience. But I asked my dr could I have the option even on the day if she agreed at anytime I can change my mind.

@gracelynnsmama so far it's been much better than an induction and I really didn't want a vbac. So far so good. And thank you(:

@toshagager1988, yeah I did get induced with my first but ended up in c section. Her heart rate dropped. In 4 hrs i dilated 1cm. So that also makes me nervous

@gracelynnsmama I wasn't dilating because I couldn't relax it was just back to back contractions and decided to get an epidural so that I could relax after I got it I rested and could feel my son coming out it was weird and amazing feeling I felt him moving down for awhile but was just waiting for them to come check me so it was 4 hours after getting it and he was born but was probably ready after 3 hours

I had an emergency c section at 37 weeks and then I did a vbac at 32 weeks. The vbac was 100000x easier than my c section. But also my baby was only 4lbs 10oz and I ripped but I can’t imagine pushing a full term baby out. Both of course are extremely hard and take a ton of energy. But the recovery time from my vbac was immediate but also I wasny really concerned about myself bc I was going to the Nicu to see my baby.

@emijayden_7, I was the same way after my c section. Daughter was in NICU. That was my priority
