I just got a call saying my AFP (spina bifida?) test came back with high enzymes. What does this mean? I've never had this issue before. I know I have a fatty liver and had my liver checked many times and also had my gallbladder taken out. I'm freaking out because not so long ago I had to take maternit21 and everything was normal. And now I'm dealing with this. 😭😭😭 I need help.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Worst day ever, come to find out the father of my child was talking to another girl behind my back telling her that we wasn't together and the only thing we had together was a baby. Like he is living with me and all... I suffer from bad depression and anxiety and I stopped taking my meds when I found out I was pregnant. And now I'm freaking out, I'm hurt, I'm embarrassed and I don't know what to do.

Same thing with me today! Positive Spina Bifida test with a 1 in 93 chance. I’m freaking out and can’t get into see a specialist until next week to confirm.

My mom said that when she was pregnant with me, I tested high for spina bifida! They had her be "high risk" for the entire pregnancy because of it. But I turned out totally fine :) (well you know, physically 😂) so don't worry yet!

So from the way my Dr explained it to me is that it is a test of numbers, you have what's normal and any change is considered abnormal and high. But it is just a precautionary test and not diagnostic. Hope you are able to get clarification from your Dr soon.
