@mom_2a_king, I'm so sorry mama! I know exactly how you feel! My little one was at the hospital for 4.5 months after he was born, leaving is the hardest, however, I found peace in knowing that my little guy was safe and being well taken care of! My best advice is rest up while you can (easier said than done lol, I know... I slept less while he was there than I do when he is home haha), call as much as you like, and spend as much time as you want up there! Before you know it, your little guy will be home! Let me know if you need anything or want go talk! 😘
@mom_2a_king we we're both in the hospital for a whole week and once that week was up they let us come home together only on restrictions. I then had to continuously bring her back up to the hospital every single day for another 2 weeks after that. It hasn't been easy.
@mom_2a_king that makes since. Yeah my baby girl was almost a month early too. She's my little preemie princess. She's just now at seven and a half pounds.
@kaytibug2009, yes I had him at 34 weeks. He was suppose to be a September baby. But everything is fine he is breathing and maintaining body heat on his own.. they are just waiting to for him to drink out of the bottle instead of half bottle and half tube
At least you know he's safe and the hospital will take care of him. I see you're in Dallas, I had my little girl at parkland and she and I had to spend a week in the hospital. It was hard especially when I couldn't see her for hours at a time!
I know exactly how you feel. I had to leave my youngest at the hospital for 12 hours when she was only 2 days old... It crushed me to leave her. Like soul crushing pain but I got some rest, and the time went by super fast. Before I knew it I was back with her. So don't worry. That is the BEST place other than with you that your baby could be right now and that's where he Needs to be!! Keep your head up
