Is it bad to drive really far with a 3 month old? We're moving to Michigan to be with my family and we have to drive.

We are military and we drove from Montana to California with a 1 month old. We just made lots of stops to feed and change him.

I've taken that route but to Illinois with a 3 and 4 year old. Never with a baby though. Furthest we've needed to go with a 5 month old was NV to Cali. About 4 hrs.

Are you driving straight thru or stopping to sleep?

You will be making a lot of stops when we do the opposite move I think hubby is having me and the kids fly and he is going to drive

How long is the drive?

I always leave when my baby is about to go to sleep. Then when baby wakes up you make a stop to eat, change diaper, play etc.
