So tmrrw Hanna gets her 4 month vaccines along with her ears pierced. Question for you mamas: Hanna has been drooling a lot, been congested, very sleepy and had a mild fever. I know these are all symptoms of teething.. which I do believe she is doing. But she's also sneezing which I feel she has allergies. I was told that when your child is sick, you should not get them vaccinated because they can have a bad reaction while sick. But my problem is idk if she's actually sick? Would the pediatrician be able to determine that? Or is it better to just wait for her shots? Thoughts and opinions?
I would call her doctor and see what they say and if they say to come in so they can check her then bring her in if she sick then tell them you want to wait on her shots and When she's better just go get her shots then and if she is drooling a lot she's teething and when they teed they can run a slight fever and if she has A runny nose or itching her nose and eyes that's allergies so I just talk to her pediatrician about it and go form there
@e.l.white, well either way I'm going to get her regular check up done at least and her ear piercing. But might wait for vaccines just in case. Thank you! I do too
I would call the pediatrician and tell them what's going on rather than going in right now. See if it's something to worry about and if they want you to wait until she gets shots. Best luck and hope your little one is okay!
My 5.5 month old has been drooling alot since a little before 5 months. She has yet to have any teeth come in, hasn't had a fever. She sneezes a few times a day since she was a newborn
