I heard that if you get babies shoes to early itll mess with feet growth,, butt should i still get some crib shoes?

Ok so I'm looking for sneakers for my son. I don't really want to spend $45+ dollars on shoes... But I guess I Would cause my son will be walking soon and I want him to have good walking shoes. My only thing with stride rites is that the boots I have for him now are So fricking hard to get on him! I literally have to pound them on his foot lol. Need a baby shoe horn. Please tell me they are not all like this.
