Brought the baby home 2 days ago. I haven't slept yet because I'm worried that she might be too cold or too hot. Last night, I had to wake her up because I got scared. This is another level of craziness. I thought my boyfriend would have been the one doing that. Anyways, I'm still not comfortable with what she should really wear on what temperature.

Everyone is this way at first. Especially with their first baby. Let your natural instincts tell you what to do. And relax. 😍😀 I was always told if your cold she's probably cold.

@mommyof2x, hiii, thank you so much for replying. I have the heat on 70, she sleeps with a short sleeve shirt, with socks, a cozy onesie and I wrap her up with light sheet, the ones from the hospital, I love them. What do you think?

yes she should feel great just like that. My daughter never liked to be swaddled. I can be freezing at night so I feel like she is too amd once I putt the blanket over her she takes it right off. Even when I change her clothes , I put the onesie over her head and she acts like she's about to die lol.

I did the same to Adrienne! I think she over heated because she broke out in a heat rash. She's naturally a really hot baby so anything more than a long sleeve onsie and a light blanket is a definite no! I keep my place at like 73 and at night I keep it at 75, put a short sleeve onsie on her and a warm blanket and she's out like a light (if she's had her bottle already)

I want to start a serious discussion. One where there is no judgement, no name calling just honesty and compassion. Remember, everyone is dealing with a demon you don't know about. I was told by a friend of 11 years today that she hates being a mom. I know she loves her daughter because I've witnessed the love for the child's whole life. (I'm the godmother) I guess my question is, does anyone else feel this way too? I'm not judging my friend whatsoever. She is a great person who can bring a smile to your face no matter what! She just feels so depressed and I've never seen her like this. 😰
