So I'm having some late pregnancy worries... What if cant comfort her? What if I don't know why shes crying? Like say we're out and shes screaming and I just don't know what she wants!! That thought scares the shit out of me!
@trevise I'm pretty upset, so thank you for understanding it means a lot *hug* ❤
@firsttimemummy21 I don't understand how just saying that I disagree is shoving my opinion in someone's face? I never told you why I disagree or that you should do anything differently I simply told you that I disagree but wish you well, why does something so small and insignificant have to blow up like this?
Yes, I agree everyone has a right to their opinion, but that doesn't mean you have to go around shoving your opinion in everyone's face
@miicat, the point is, I didnt ask for your opinion on breastfeeding and nor did I ask if you agreed or disagreed. This post is nothing to do with breastfeeding so really you had no right...
@firsttimemummy21 Everyone has a right to their opinion I don't see what the problem is.
@miicat, I'm sure you didn't mean no offence .. Everybody's hormones are everywhere
@cayleighnatasha I simply asked her why she isn't going to and said I disagree about "who cares as long as the baby is fed". Since when is asking a question and sharing opposing views about something going in on someone?
@miicat, can you please just stop commenting. This isnt a place for debate.
but this isn't even anything to do with how to feed a baby?? you just started going in on the poor girl about her not breastfeeding?? @miicat
@cayleighnatasha And that's your right to view things in that way.
@trevise Yes I totally agree with you. I'm not here to offend anyone it's pretty annoying to have it be taken in offence if I'm honest. I'm just giving my own advice and views to ladies here like everyone else is.
I don't disagree with breastfeeding or bottle feeding I agree with both as long as the baby is happy and healthy who cares? haha @miicat
I felt like this but it will just come naturally and like people have said your instincts will kick in...and don't worry I didn't breast feed and I have a perfectly happy and healthy baby weighing 12'7oz at 7weeks old...don't listen to what people say!! @firsttimemummy21 xx
@firsttimemummy21 That's a situation of its own, but you can't know that before the baby is actually born.
wow @miicat.. tad harsh when someone's looking for advice.. she said as long as baby is fed and u disagreed.. not everyone is able to breastfeed so bit mean to comment about it.. @firsttimemummy21 ul do great as every mum will.. if you didn't have worries you wouldn't be normal xx
there's always one. don't worry I didn't breastfeed my son and he's a happy healthy strong 5 year old now! x
@cayleighnatasha It's nothing to do with you either. I'm not judging your or anyone's choices I'm simply saying I disagree and anyone is free to disagree with my ways too. I'm sure we all have our reasons to believe whatever we believe.
Many women go on to have 4/5/6 kids with not very big age gaps and tbh they do it that's the way I look at it if they can do it so can I!! You will be fine Hun, I am going into melt down as I have 2 weeks left so it's actually hit me there will be another little life who will rely and depend on me you will be fine Hun I promise @firsttimemummy21 if you ever need a chat 👍🏻xxx
@miicat, what if your baby wont latch on or simply just doesnt take to breastfeeding?
Awe hun :)Don't worry! Your instincts kick in...you learn as you go by trial and error :) You will soon learn what cry means what...they give little cues :) My girl never cries :) unless she is over tired :) She will let you know that she is hungry...when she sucks her fingers... opens her mouth if something is near her :) They let you know they are hungrt before they get to the crying stage xx
@miicat, when my daughter is born I will be breastfeeding however , I don't see a problem with a baby being bottle fed ! Different strokes for different folks! And @firsttimemummy21 I feel the same way I just thought about it this morning how will I cope but I'm sure we're all going to be alright.. It's a challenge that will all be worth it
well I find it extremely offensive you saying you disagree with how we feed our babies it's nothing to do with you. there isn't a right or wrong way to feed a baby.. happy mummy is a happy baby and that's what matters.
@cayleighnatasha Last time I checked I didn't say anything offensive at all, I simply stated my views which I am, like everyone else is, entitled to do. I've done my own research as much as you lovely ladies have and am simply giving advice from my own sets of knowledge just like everyone else is doing.
@miicat, are you joking? it has nothing to do with you how a mother feeds their own baby? If you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all.
@firsttimemummy21 Well let's let everyone have their views without it being a problem!
this has nothing to do with breastfeeding because I know how to look after my son and I bottle feed lol? anyways you will know what to do hun don't worry it'll just come naturally.. you won't always know what they're actually crying for but all babies have different cries for different things but i just make sure it's not feeding time.. dirty nappy.. trapped wind.. tired or even just a cuddle ect that's what I do and baby will settle down.. this will all come once you've had your little one it'll just click trust me I was panicking too. but you'll be fine xxx
@firsttimemummy21 Well, I disagree with you on that, but I wish you well!
@miicat, because my partner wants to be able to feed from birth as well and many other reasons. As long as baby gets fed, it doesn't matter if its formula or boob
@firsttimemummy21 Why not? Anyhow whether you do or not those insticts that come when you're able to breastfeed do help a ton.
@lauren16, thanks :) I'm just freaking out a bit now haha xx
It will come to you you will realise your baby has different crys :-) your be fine @firsttimemummy21 I'm the same and this is my 2nd lol xxx
Don't worry your instincts will kick in like fire when you start breastfeeding 👌
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.
They couldn't find a heartbeat and she isn't moving I'm beyond upset I don't know what to do
I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
@miicat, how can you disagree with 'who cares as long as the baby is fed'???
