why do i see that alot of moms get induced before the 40 weeks? i know induced is when they make you have the baby . what is it exactly? whats the process?? just curious. ftm

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?

I had my son at 41 weeks, but I had to be induced for my daughter because of complications. But I actually went into labor 2 days before my induction date.

I was induced at 39 weeks for being uncomfortable. I was given cervadil the night before my induction to help my cervix. Then I was given pitocin and not long after dr broke my water and I labored as normal. Pitocin makes you have contractions. It basically jump starts labor.

I was induced at 39 weeks. I was a high risk pregnancy and was given pitocin then shortly after my OB broke my water.

induced at 41weeks was pass due ..was given pitocin then few hrs later water broke...also u read that getting induced being a ftm could have u in labor up 2-3days @dayan48

For me they started with a pill, then a catheter balloon inside me, then broke my water, then pitocin. I was in labor for 2 days but it started at 41 weeks 3 days👶🏽
