When they induced u does it hurt?? And what do they do to induced u? I just wanna know that's all. 🤔🤔😐

Yes it hurts! You feel the contractions ten times worse, the whole point is to force your body to go into labor and contract and dilate and its pitocin they give it to you through an IV

Oh okay well everybody is different and had different situations, so that's not what I think. If u believe in God he will help u. Well I am still not getting the epidural and no one a'int gonna try to change my mind, cause that's what I don't wanna do. Yeah but I am gonna try my best so I won't have to get it, cause I know all the side affects from it for baby and mommy. @christal1102

I had to have a induction as well. I hope you are able to do it without a epidural!

I believe in God as well but that has nothing to do with the pain of pushing a baby out.

yes back in the day women did it every day. they also washed clothes by hand, & rode horses. we now have cars, & washing machines. to make life easier. someone invented pain medication for giving birth... best thing ever! I've done this twice. once with, once without. natural birth is awesome but don't feel like your breaking your plan if you feel you need it. good to know the option Is there unlike 1880.

yeah, it almost ended in a c-section because he was under so much stress, but i got to have him vaginally and all went smoothly once they turned down the pitocin

@aliciafuentes045, I got stadol in my IV when I couldn't handle the contractions, then got fentanyl before I got an epidural

Yes I am, but I have no choice not to cause of my fluids and my blood pressure. So I have to get induced it's for the safety for our son and me!!! To me it is a natural birth so. @firefly

If ur scared during ur labor it will not go good, and my doctor said I can do a vaginal birth natural so we will see. I will. @matthewsmom

first son is 12 I had epidural with him. second son is 7 I decided to have natural birth. Dear lord I don't know what I was thinking....I was in screaming pain..I felt my skin pull open i begged for meds but it was too late. now I'm expecting my daughter, will 4 sure get epidural again. unnecessary pain. not trying 2 scare you, just telling you my experience

Good luck! The pain is insane either way; but I haven't heard of anyone making it through an induced birth naturally so you'll have to let us know how it goes! If I have to be induced I would love to know it's still an option

I was induced for my first. it went better than my second pregnancy where I went into labor and my water broke at home.

I was induced on March 2nd and I got a pill Put in my cervix at 10am and 2pm (my water broke shortly after the second dose so they never did a third dose on me.) so they could ease me into early labor, was in that until 4am on the 3rd I got pitocin and the contractions really started. Around 10am I got checked and was told I'd be ready to push around 4pm. I was actually ready to push at 11:49pm and my baby boy was out by 12:11pm

Yeah I want to have a natural birth as well that's why I'm hoping I don't get induced :/ I've been told is much much harder to stick to a natural birth plan if you do. @aliciafuentes045

Your welcome I was induced it honestly didn't hurt until they broke my water then it was very VERY intense I ended up having to get a epidural I couldn't handel it. But after that my beautiful baby girl was born.

it can. Mine had me passing out during contractions. But it also took almost 60 hours, 2 rounds of pitocin and 3 rounds of cervidil, once they broke my water i went into a natural labor that my doctor didnt notice so i had natural contractions that were horribly intensified by the pitocin.

They use pitocin usually which is a medicine through your iv that induces labor. The contractions may hurt until you get your epidural

the actual inducing doesn't hurt the labor hurts. The contractions are quick and you don't get a break
