Ladies getting induced on August 15 have any of you got induced how is it what am I looking forward to so nervous 😬
@madalynnelenamom2016 yeah I know. The hospital I delivered at had great nurses and doctors. I felt very cared for and relaxed, there were a couple here and there that weren't that great but most of them were awesome. I delivered my first there as well but I had one nurse with him that was just a bitch and was basically the cause for my birth plan being thrown out the window because she didn't want to do her job properly
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, u know
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, yea I would hope they have better nurses because they was so rude and I ain’t putting up with it at that other hospital because they should be caring and understanding and helpful and love their job not be rude and give the mommies a hard time
@madalynnelenamom2016 oh I see, that makes sense
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, because there is 2 hospitals that are the same but in different locations like where I had delivered my first daughter it was 20 mins away from where we live and there I will never go because it was the worst experience I ever had and they wasn’t very nice when I had my c section and basically it was a bad experience there but they have another hospital but bigger with more things and bigger hospital and that is where my sis in law had her baby and so that is about a hour away so I have to chose one or the other which I rather go to the one in Galveston that a hour because I didn’t have experience there and I did at the other hospital but hopefully they ain’t rude because I ain’t shutting up this time lol
@madalynnelenamom2016 how come you're choosing to deliver there if she had such a bad experience?
@nikki9109, yes i just can’t wait I just wanted to basically hear everyone story on getting induced so I can be prepared and everyone is different but it would be nice to hear what they went through for a head up and it’s beautiful to know how everyone had their babies because everyone has a amazing story from c section or virginal birth we are all strong and beautiful and have scars and stretch marks to prove we are strong 💪
@madalynnelenamom2016, you should just go for it. Everyone is different so u don’t know how it will be for u pain wise but if it’s something u really want and u don’t do it u may regret it in the end. Even if u do go through some pain it would be worth it and it just adds to ur birth story. Do what’s best for u and what u want mama
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, I hope the nurses are nice because I’m delivering at the same hospital my sis in law had her baby and some of them were so rude and no help and wasn’t telling her anything and it was rough for her so hopefully I can ask questions and have some sort of help and good nurses that love their job not just have a attitude and rude
@madalynnelenamom2016 well like @thisisfeeney just communicate with the nurses and your doctor, ask any questions you may have about anything concerning or confusing and they'll help put your mind at ease.
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, well like my sis in law they asked her about a tampon one or ballooon and a pill so she told me to tell them the tampon one which I’m confused 🤷♀️
@nikki9109, omg wow I hope I can do this my mother in law was telling my husband why don’t I just get a c section because I’m just going to suffer in pain but really I want to because with my first daughter I was going to do normal virginal birth but we had issues and I’m glad my first daughter came out healthy I have a scar of love and and a strong 💪 that one day will tell her 💖💖💖 I really want a normal virginal birth this time since I couldn’t with my first and it would be awesome to have different stories about their births when they get older to tell 💖💖💖 I am just so nervous and it’s still a few weeks but it goes by so dads
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, ok I was confused do they ask u what u want to do
I got induced with my second and wasn’t as bad as I thought because so many said the contractions are worse when ur induced I was scared. But it was like having some cramping which wasn’t too bad then they broke my water and was in labor for about 9 hours 4 pushes later my baby girl was here. It was a lot better than my natural birth with my son where my water broke on its own didn’t feel contractions but was in labor was 17 hours and pushed for a long time
@madalynnelenamom2016 they can only do that balloon or pitocin after a csection, the pill the cannot use. I'd go with the pitocin because the balloon is basically just a water balloon they insert into your cervix and manually dilate it which to me seems very unpleasant... At least the pitocin helps it do it on its own. And yes if you tear they can give you lidocaine injections to numb the area while they stitch.
@madalynnelenamom2016, take a hot shower or jump in a hot bathtub
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, I seen with my sis in law that she had got the the epidural and it didn’t work for her so she felt everything but her baby was 4 pounds 3 ounces but she said it hurt and she was in so much pain I wanted to just wait til due date which is August 22 but baby at 34 weeks 6 days weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces so by the time my due date comes she would be a big baby and probably would have had a a c section which I’m trying to avoid because my husband is only taking a week off of work and we have a 2 year old daughter so I want to be close to virginal as possible because I won’t have help with her and baby and then if I did have a c section help with my self but if it happens it happens u know but i hope I can do this I’m scared because I don’t know what I am looking forward to with virginal birth especially getting induced i heard they put ballooon or pilll or something like that which I don’t know what that is for
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, omg do they num u to put stitches? And I will ask about even to stand in shower and I really i can with out epidural because I have back issues with the spinal from c section because it took 3 or 4 tries to get it to work
@madalynnelenamom2016 I'll be honest with you, the recovery for my vbac has been a lot worse than the csection 😥 only because I have like 3 tears... definitely try to labor in water if you can and like I said, do not deny the epidural if you really feel you need it... The epidural helped me get through it for the most part
@nbentley88, thank you I hope so 🤞💖
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, omg wow I hope I can do this I’m so scared since with my first was a emergency c section the pain for the first c section was horrible and after care because I was diabetic with my daughter and this one I have stones in my gallbladder
@madalynnelenamom2016 it's not bad mama, you do wonderfully😄
@nbentley88, o ok today I seen my doctor and now I will get to see her every week till baby gets here
@madalynnelenamom2016 I just had a vbac a week ago, wasn't induced for it but I was induced for my first son and it can take a long time. I was induced at 130pm on January 18th and he wasn't born until January 19th at 1053pm. I was in labor nearly 2 days and it ended with a csection. The things you can do to help the pain is sitting in the hot shower or warm bath if it's available to you and different positions can make a difference too, but trust me, pitocin can definitely make contractions more painful than normal ones and don't fight the option of an epidural, if you need it take it! I was in so much pain this time around with contractions and wasn't even induced. I wanted to labor in the bath but I just couldn't.
@madalynnelenamom2016 not at all. They used like a huge crochet looked device though, so don't get freaked out. But that was almost 7 years ago.
@nbentley88, did breaking water hurt ?
@thisisfeeney, what can I do to help with contractions land make it go faster like you said walking what other things can I do because I don’t want to be laying down and hurting could I use a heating pad as well and thank you I’m so scared because with my first daughter I had a emergency c section so it was a whole other experience
I got induced with both my boys! Wasn't bad at all, I was actually prepared so it was nice. They started the meds and then a little while later broke my water which was weird cuz it was like sitting in a warm bath all of a sudden and then shortly after epidural and then babes was here! My first son was 7 hours from the time I got to hospital and my second son was 5 hours. Not saying it is a fast process for everyone though, everyone is completely different.
It can be a long process. Just communicate with your nurses. Try to rest. If you’re able to walk around it can help. I will warn you pitocin induced contractions are said to be worse than natural contractions. That was the case for me but maybe not for everyone. Good luck and I hope everything goes smoothly!

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
When they induced u does it hurt?? And what do they do to induced u? I just wanna know that's all. 🤔🤔😐
Any mommies that had to be induced ?
Being induced Wednesday how was everyone else? Was anyone else induced and what was your experience like?
So the question is to induce or to not induce 😓
@ladyblauvelt_mommyof2, exactly so this time I will literally tell them or her to give their name and for them to get out and will report them because they shouldn’t be giving any issues to the mommies trying so hard to have babies I won’t be shutting up this time I told my husband to get their names and I will report them I don’t care if I’m in so much pain I will tell them not to be in my room period
