Okay ladies here's some questions I have that my doctor didn't care to answer.
-when should I have a bag prepared for the clinic
-when should I register for l&d
-I'm from WI how long do I get for maternity leave, what do I do if my job doesn't cover maternity leave
-when should I tour the birth center
Maternity leave Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Should I let my x know when labor starts
Quick question: when you ask your doctor when you should go on maternity leave,do they give you some sort of paper or can I just file for disability without having to have anything?

I'd say around 30 weeks for the bag and may 25 weeks for l&b tour etc.

make sure to have breastpads. breast pump if you plan to nurse.

@xoamanduh, I'm going to email them tomorrow. I don't actually have a office or see the people I work with because I do therapy in clients homes for a Healthcare company hours from where I live so it's so hard to ever know what's going on. is it supposed to be 6w before and 6w after or however I want to do it?

Omg. No. your doctor doesn't even decide that for you and has no say anyway!!!! tell her to shhhhh lol you tell your job you're pregnant and then fill out forms for leave. You are entitled by WISCONSIN LAW up to 12 weeks.

By law, even if your job doesn't cover leave, you are entitled to 12 weeks.

I'm just worried because I'm a ftm and starting to get the anxiety of oh shit this is really happening and I feel so unprepared!! I want to go out and buy everything for this baby so I feel calmer but ik I should wiat til after my baby shower but my baby shower is 4 weeks b4 my due date. I'm worried I'll have him early because all my mom's kids where early. I was 5 weeks early and my sister was born at 22 weeks and the rest where taken out early by c section so she wouldn't go into labor.

you can tour the birthing center now.

you can go right to your hospital and ask to take a tour in l&d. they should be able to answer when you should deliver. also I say pack you baby bag and your bad around 30 weeks. or 35 weeks. it'll give you time to make sure what you have in there is really what you want.
