FTM my daughter is now 4 months old and I still sometimes feel like I'm not doing enough with her. I read to her, do tummy time, let her play with her playgym, talk to her about whatever I'm doing, but at this point I feel like even she is getting bored with our routine.

she rarely ever naps, it's just who she is, so I feel like I need to give her 110% for 8 straight hours sometimes and I just don't feel like I'm doing enough for her development.


My mom keeps telling me that as long as she is growing and slowly hitting her milestones (rolling over, responding to voices, etc) then she is fine, but I just can't shake the feeling that I should be doing more.


does anyone have an advice or felt like this before?

i feel like this all the time lol. babies will grow up with or without entertainment though. its normal to nap less as they get older too.

I felt like this all the time too until my baby started daycare. Now he falls asleep for the night at 7:30 every night. So now on the weekends when I'm not working I feel like I can't do enough for him! :(

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
