@beebaby, I don't celebrate the holidays anymore because of that. I don't like the fact that people always want to reconnect and act like family just because it's the holidays. plus most of the time people only show up during the holidays expecting something. family should be there no matter what and we should all be able to speak to each other about anything on any day and not just because it's a certain time of year that's boring 😊

@lena916, that's awful! families are so quick to fight and separate over dumb reasons to avoid hearing about their own shit that they can't own up to. after all truth does hurt and alot of people try to avoid it. you should keep trying to get in contact with your brother's! start your search on social medias and emails... when you find them just write them a letter. I hope that helps with talking to them and I wish you the best!!!. as far as your mom ..... any reason why she thinks you're making up your children?? you should tell her that it's a shame that she would make up horrible assumptions like that about her grandchildren. tough love is what Mama needs and sometimes it has to be us adult children who are the ones to let our parents know that they're fucking up badly. they have to hear the truth as well.

shot in don't even know where my family is anymore I have brother one under age so my parents said I can't see him and the other just don't know where he is and we used to be close. my mother told me she's ashamed of me and that I'm making up my two children and they don't exist, so she's never met her grandkids or her son inlaw. I've tried my husband called my father & mother and tried to get them to come to my baby shower and the birth of both of our kid.
