For the wind try gripe water! God send, infacol doesn't really help much. And for pooing speak to a GP and see if they can give you child laxatives, I think its lactulose or movical xx

@sara-lou, it's awful and all night all I hear is him trying to push it out and he wakes himself up so we don't get a good nights sleep at all. I breast and bottle feed at night, he poos once a day when I give him infacol if I don't he doesn't poo for 3-5 days and all you hear is him struggling😩 and yeah I've got a doctors appointment coming up I'm going to push for another opinion x thank you

How often does he poo? Max goes at least once a day so technically that's ok. Even though he really struggles to do that poo. My eldest went days without pooing & the health visitors and doctors tried telling me it's normal for a newborn but I pushed them & eventually the doctors gave me laxatives for him. So if you think he is badly constipated push for another opinion to get him something @sensie

Aw it's awful seeing them in discomfort isn't it @sensie Is he formula fed? Max was exactly the same when he was born but he's a lot better now. He's 6weeks & is winding much better. Still struggles to poo now & then though. I didn't find infacol or gripe water helped or changing to colic bottles so I stopped giving it. If it is winding/colic issues just continue doing what your doing & I think only time will help as he grows out of it. You could try Dr Browns bottles though I've heard they're very good.

Anti colic bottles and try to get a very small amount of baby laxative from ur GP ... My daughter was horribly constipated when she was a baby to the point where she would bleed and scream ... It was awful. They gave us baby lactulose and she was a much happier baby. Although you do end up with those thundershits that travel up the back of the baby grow... But it's better than seeing them in pain xx
