I need too vent and I can't do it on my fb.
before getting pregnant, I did care taking for people with down syndrome, it was honestly the most rewarding work. the people were so sweet, so eager to learn and so thankful too have the help, some were pretty bad off.
Now, I'm not working, I'm living with my SO and his family, and his sister who has downs.
she is the nastiest, neediest bossiest person I've ever met, and in a matter of living here a week I already have decided I am finding a new profession. me or my daughter can't get near my SO without her telling Us not too touch him, yesterday she let their pittbull in with my 10 lb dog knowing he would hurt her, whenever I leave my room she asks me why I'm out of there like I'm not suppose to go in other parts of the house, and she gets pissed off at me because I only have 60 percent of my hearing and can't understand her, she lies non stop, My dog absolutely hates her, which means something to me because my dog loves all women and there's a few other things I won't mention. my SO says she's like this because no one makes her do anything and she's jealous . I don't know if I can continue too handle this, and she damn well won't be holding my baby because my SO said he could see her purposely dropping and hurting him because he's getting attention. smh.

@jennatess, I mentioned the therapy idea, now that she's getting her SS checks again she could afford it, no one does a damn thing with her, she sits in front of the TV from 8 am to 11 pm, so its not like she doesn't have the time. @phinnybinz I definitely need a hug and a tequila shot but I can't get either right now lmao
That's a tough situation. I would not want to have my child around that type of person. I will say that I would try to not let one person completely affect your career that you love. I would almost let it push you further. Knowing that you may be the person in the lives of the people you work with that keeps them from acting like this. Wish I could give you a hug, it sounds like you need one.
I love people with Down Syndrome. My dads side of the family alone I had an great aunt, an aunt, and a cousin all with DS. But, just like everyone else, there are a few bad seeds. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. She lives with you? Is this the only living situation that can be done? It sounds like she needs some therapy time.
unfortunately we just had to move back in due too lack of funds with me having to give up my job😰 no one says a damn thing to her it's excuses after excuses. like with the dog situation, my MIL was like oh well you have to be really specific with her. I'm like oh so me saying hey is your dog in the yard because mines going in too pee and her saying no hes in the bedroom wasn't specific enough? she let her dog out AFTER telling me he wasn't out there, so it was done purposely.
Oh my!!! it sounds like you and your little one are in danger. What if the dog did something to your little girl?? Does anyone say anything to her? Is moving out on your own an option??
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder of...

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
