is it okay to sleep on your right side or back? I've researched laying on your left side is best due to better blood flow. I'm not sleeping very well on my left side it's very uncomfortable.
I am 24 weeks pregnant and sleep on my back sometimes I can't because I get light headed but depending on how the baby is positioned it doesn't bother me.
I wedge a pillow against my back when I lay on my right side that way I don't roll completely to my back in my sleep and it's pretty comfy
I'm 30 weeks and have slept on my left side but it's affecting my neck. I generally wake up on on my back. if I sleep on my right side I. completely out
I would avoid your back and if it's putting pressure on the main artery it will make you light headed.. I will be on my back for short periods of time but it quickly bothers me. I think either side is fine to be honest so your hips can get a break on each side. :)
Left side is best. Right side is ok. Back is uncomfortable for me to lay on unless I wedge a pillow under my back as well. but my left hip hurts pretty bad when sleeping as I sleep on that side so much!
I also slept on my back up until 30 weeks.
