I keep seeing posts about not sleeping on your right side but to sleep on your left??? I am wayyyy more comfortable and use to my right then my left...I don't understand why I shouldn't be???
uyeah when I sleep in my side when I can something has to be under my belly but it still hurts @arijane316
@hermommy, oh ok. I have to have the pillow between my legs like all he way from hip to foot lol and my belly is big enough that it rests on the bed now 😂
@arijane316 under my leg that is kicked out yes but I sleep on my stomach
@hermommy, do you put a pillow between your legs and under your belly?
@sharonpaige13 oh goodness girl not fun:( I'm tiny framed also I guess cheer did me some good surprisingly but girl yes it does😩 bc it's actually more comfortable it just hurts
@hermommy, I just have tiny hips and always had hip problems that's why I slept in my stomach lol can't wait to go back to those days! Wish it didn't hurt for you to sleep on your sides though!! That must suck!
@sharonpaige13 yeah hats when you know your too far to be on your back😩😟 sorry girl at least your side's are better:)
it's fine on either side it's just towards the end of your pregnancy when baby is alot bigger and heavier the left side gives you better blood flow because your not crushing you major veins that bring blood back to your heart. and laying on your back can do the same thing..except worse
@hermommy, I usually slept on my tummy then I got bigger and then yeah it was like impossible! So I switched to my right side! Sleeping in my back kills my hips!
nope not at all lol, like how is one side better than the other, personally I'm a tummy and back sleeper lol @sharonpaige13
It's the only side that's comfortable for me. I dislocated my left shoulder and if I put weight on it pops out of place and my left hip hurts to sleep on too
It's apparently better for circulation/blood flow but I almost always sleep on my right side & recently the weight of the baby makes me feel like I'm suffocating if I even try to on my left lol he's 6 lbs already so I'm assuming it's done no harm sleeping on my right 🙄
@arijane316, I'm def not a back sleeper! It's to painful but thank you! I got all worried because I always sleep on my right side lol
It's perfectly fine to sleep on your right side. left is just the most beneficial. it's your back that's bad to sleep on because your uterus will press on your aorta and cause problems for you and baby

tattoo mommies let me see your sweet tattoos this is my right arm its a rose vine going around my arm and on my forearm i have two owls in love connected to it .
on my left side of my belly I have a dragon ;)
How important is it to sleep on your left side? I catch myself sleeping on my back and right side all the time 😕
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Sleeping position when pregnant
I try to fall asleep on my left side but always wake up on my back or on my right side, is it really that bad not to be on my left?, I have horrible SPD and it's so uncomfortable on my left side so I must be turning in my sleep x
@hermommy, I was at that point for a couple months. it sucked
