Can you sleep on your right side while pregnant ? I’m asking cause I’m tired of my left side & im not comfortable 😭
It really doesn't matter. Honestly the blood flow is the same on all sides. Your baby is safe inside the uterus My MIL is a nurse and told me there is no "better side". Google is full of lies that try to scare you. Sleep how ever your comfortable.
Sleep however is comfortable, your body will defanitaly tell you if something is wrong (like of you cant breath, move lol) at 27 weeks I still slept halfway on my stomach. Further along I couldn't lay on my back at all because it cuts off blood flow and couldnt breath but trust me you will notice!
You can sleep on your back too they just say to be careful because once the baby is big they can kick your spine causing issues and sometimes cut your breathing down but as long as you are comfy you are ok
@tianadavis216 you will be ok on the right .. I like to sleep on my right so I alternate because I've also gotten used to the left for this reason.. my sides go numb and her feet are always kicking on the right so it just depends on how my body feels.. you will be ok either way
@jordanrwilliams25, I’m scared as heck 😭 I sleep only on the left side but it’s starting to get very un comfortable
@angelfoodcake, I’m just really scared to sleep on my right side . I don’t wanna mess up her blood flow & hurt her but I’m so damn un comfortable I literally only sleep on my left side
@tianadavis216 no .. it just flows better on the left she'll still get blood circulation
@jordanrwilliams25, so if I sleep on my right side I’m taking her blood flow away
I've never ever heard there was a specific side you were supposed to sleep or not sleep on, other than back, and stomach once it's uncomfortable.... I switch sides at least 100 a night actually.
Yes I alternate .. they say you have the best flow for baby on the way left
Circumcision? Thoughts from both sides? I have no clue what I’m going to do!
I haven’t accepted any friend request because I’m skeptical with all that’s been going on this past week lol. Sorry but I’m side eyeing all #Myfirstpost 🤷🏽♀️ don’t take it personal
Have any of you taken Sertraline/ Zoloft for their anxiety?
My therapist wants me to try it out but I’m scared of the side effects.
Well I’m gonna go in to be on the safe side.. Prayers please cause last time I was 2cm dilated..
Hello ! My name is Teraysa and I recently just found out I’m pregnant 😊 but I’m only 18 and I’m super scared :( my biggest thing is I’m worried about a miscarriage !! #myfirstpost
honestly i’ve slept on my right side every single night and i’m 39 weeks. my baby seems to be fine with it, except since i’m always on my right side (even on the couch when watching tv) she like gathers to the right side more and chills there so my right side is like impacted more and my veins are strictly on that side and swelling too 😄
