How important is it to sleep on your left side? I catch myself sleeping on my back and right side all the time 😕
@nickysmom89, noooo lol. if you sleep on your back constantly! lol. google it and read ! but dont read too much , its stupid and pointless ! just listen to your doc. but its ok if you wake up on your back. just move !
😳 stillborn if you don't sleep on your left side? Oh lord!!!!! @esthelaaa
i always catch my self on my back ... just switch sides all night. i read that theres a chance for stillborn because you cut off circulation to the placenta..... not sure how true or what else im missing from that but i try to listen to them as much as possible ! dont freak out though. also left side is better for heartburn!
haha lol i actually have to roll over in order to get off bed because i cant get off straight up.. its kinda funny@nickysmom89
@ethansmommy12192015, I have a hard time breathing when I try to get out of bed lol so does that mean I should stay in bed all day? Jk I'm so sick of getting up for work in the AM
@rainbowbaby2015, lol that's backwards @ccherry2 thanks. I'll have to try having my head propped up
i was the same way ..asked the doctor and he said as long as i feel fine then the baby is fine too..but if you have a hard time breathing after a while then you should switch sides
It makes my right hip hurt so bad and if I lay on my right side it makes my left hip hurt wierd huh? So I just lay on my belly.
They only say to lay on the left side because of circulation. I'm more comfortable on my left side ever since I got pregnant but sometime sleep on my right and sometimes back with my head propped up.
@rainbowbaby2015, thanx! I panic each time I catch myself. Sleeping on my left side all the time is beginning to make my back and hips hurt.
Any way you lay is okay as long as you're comfy honestly I know a girl who is due this month and she still sleeps on her belly. I myself can't sleep on my back I just get to uncomfortable
I've always heard it's best to sleep on the left side, but the position I find comfortable is on my right side! What side do y'all sleep on?
How do yall sleep at night, I know they say sleep on your Left side, but it's not comfy for me.!
Sleeping positions my 6 month old hates:
1. Sleeping on his side.
2. Sleeping on his back.
3. Sleeping on his stomach.
Sleeping position when pregnant
I try to fall asleep on my left side but always wake up on my back or on my right side, is it really that bad not to be on my left?, I have horrible SPD and it's so uncomfortable on my left side so I must be turning in my sleep x
I don't get this. So to prevent SID you're supposed to put baby on their backs. They say stomach sleeping and even side sleeping can increase risk. But if your baby has GERD (acid reflux) Dr will reccomend you to elevate their heads at bedtime and sometimes they even recommend side sleeping. Im just lost...
It's good if you notice to go ahead and roll back over but really however you can get comfortable and sleep
