I am against letting my son cry it out. He stayed with my mom and siblings while I got my stuff put in storage, I go to pick him up and they say they won't keep him anymore because he cries too much. If he cries then pick him up, how hard is it. They say he is spoiled, he is not spoiled, he is loved ALOT. He is the only child, let him be. If I have to stay out of work until he is in school, I will, that's how much I love him.
And school mama, goodluck. I already know im gonna have trouble leaving him because he wont stay with anyone.
It is true they can get spoiled if you pick them up as soon as they make a peep. My sons 9 months now and everytime he cries he will scream until someone picks him up. Like bloody murder scream. I let him cry cause I need to break that cycle. I know its okay for them to cry but letting them cry is sometimes best. I cant even leave him in his crib so i can pee without him screaming.
@taiboos_mommy16, it's heartbreaking to listen to your baby scream and cry
@trayt15 I know its hard to hear them cry. trust me i would pick andrew up every time he made a little whine. He has his moments where he wont cry but its only if im in the same room. He gets really upset if people he doesnt see all the time hold him. My own sister who lives about an hour away from me couldnt hold him without him screaming. If you plan on sleep training then nows the time to let him cry it out because thats what you do when you sleep train. But if you dont want a spoiled child i would let him cry it out. Not for hours but you know for a good 5 minutes just let him. Eventually you will end up letting him cry it out.
