Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My baby is 2 today!! I literally cried myself to sleep last night snuggling with him. (yeah, I let him sleep in my bed last night bc I he wanted to & I wanted him to) lol Why are birthdays so hard for meeee?! 😭😭😭
Trigger. Our precious boy Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.
Did or does anyone have a newborn (under a month old) who doesn't sleep at night? The second I put him in his crib he freaks out 😢
So my doctor says I have to start putting the baby in his crib at night and letting him cry it out when he wakes for a bottle. She says he should be sleeping 10-12 hours at a time by now (he only sleeps about 2-3 hours before he wakes wanting a bottle or pacifier). She swears if we do this it won't take more than 3 nights for him to adjust and start sleeping better. She says that he should only get 1-2 naps a day too and we should lay him down at night as soon as he starts showing signs of being sleepy like rubbing his eyes, not waiting until he's exhausted. - I just don't know if I can do it, letting him cry at night.. I just don't know. Has anyone else done this?

@geraldinetov, I have that and he doesn’t want to sleep in it at all

I would recommend you get a bassinet that goes on the bed, my son hated his crib until he was 3 months. So he slept in his bassinet until we switched him to his crib.

Try cuddling with the swaddle blanket before you swaddle. Mamas smell is comforting to them it may help

I swaddle my baby girl and it helps her sleep in her bassinet.

This is my 3rd time having a newborn NEITHER of my other two would allow me to put them in the crib or anything at night so I co-slept, bc I felt it was easier to breastfeed. But this time with our newborn my husband bought a actual swaddle blanet and it helped with my newbie. She slept longer and she sleeps in her bassinet. Without the swaddle her wild motion of her hands kept waking her and making her mad. So maybe go buy one and trg that too.

Have you tried swaddling him? He needs to feel like he’s being held.

I would just keep trying different things until you find what works for you and him. I know it’s hard, it’s been hard for me too. I already have a 3 year old I co sleep with so putting the baby in the bed with me is not an option, and I’m like you and don’t feel okay with holding him and sleeping. 😔

I got this one for my son and he LOVES it. It looks super comfy, it inclines, and I think that he likes that he’s not super flat in it.

I am buying a swing today lol I Love he wants to be on me all the time and yes sleepless nights I’ve had but I wouldn’t trade them for nothing

No, definitely don’t sleep holding him. I’m going through the same thing with my new born. Does he just not like his bassinet? We had to try a few different ones with my son until we finally found one that he liked. Consistency is key. Just through out the day when he falls asleep try putting him in it every time.
