breastfeeding moms! I know it is suggested to pump after feedings, but sometimes I have to pump before. baby will be ready in another hour to nurse is that okay?
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
I need to find a breast pump that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. :(
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.

have you tried pumping one side while nursing on the other ? sometimes its a little tricky to figure out how to juggle a baby and a pump but now that I started I love doing it. then when he's done feeding I put the pump on that breast to make sure I'm getting all the milk out. then both breasts are ready when he's ready again

Yep, I've had that happen when pumping. It's almost impossible to empty your breast completely when pumping due to the fact that pumping can't get out as much milk as baby suckling

ok I was just worried. cause at night she nurse every 2-3hrs vs day time every 4 so I just pump the other breast after I know she's done and not gonna nurse the other breast. then the next time I have her start on the breast that I pumped last @santistevanmommie @mamabearluken

but because my breast are ready every 2-3 hours I pump every 2 if she doesn't nurse. if she's awake she will nurse but if she's sleep she'll nurse every 3-4 during the day. @santistevanmommie

Yeah my daughter still nurses a lot like that now at almost a year. But my milk has regulated and I stopped pumping
