so my daughter has a yeast infection diaper rash. her pediatrician prescribed a cram to apply 4 times a day but after i put it on 4 times and use just baby powder her private area starts getting irritated again. her dr told me no butt paste or desitin & to use baby powder. is there any home safe remedys i should try? my baby is just so uncomfortable :(

@dani4269, i taljed to her dr and they said its not a allergic reaction & that she has a yeast infection because when i was pregnant i had alot of yeast infections and i had them check me before i went to labour and they said i didnt had it but i still had oral thrush.. and her dr said its open cuts or blisters so its not a allergic reaction
We always use the cream for the yeast infection and apply triple paste on top, it clears up in no time! @mommy_of_two1994
I wouldn't use the powder anymore? I've heard coconut oil is really good!!

I was told never to use baby powder by my son's doctor.
