how do you ladies time out pumping and nursing ? if I pump right after he eats I don't get much. if I wait 2 hours I can pump a decent amount but then he is ready to eat after 2 hours. during the week its easy bc I'm at work so I pump every 2 hours at work. but on weekends and vacations from work I can't time it out to get ahead ! help mamas

I know the feeling I have to supplement with formula but something is better than nothing

yeah that's a good idea. I need to get better at pumping more often. I get lazy sometimes. I also haven't been staying hydrated very well. some things I've read say you need to drink a lot of water to help your supply and some things say it doesn't matter how much water you take in. but I try everything. Gatorade almonds oatmeal lactation smoothies mothers milk tea fenugreek etc and it seems like it doesn't do anything to help 😒 @maxie

yea I know what you mean my daughter takes 6 and my supply dropped....to get it up I'm power pumping in hopes of making more

I've tried that but I only seem to get like .5 or 1 oz. it frustrates me bc he eats 5 oz at each feeding so at that rate it takes me forever to have enough for one bottle. when I'm at work I can pump 3-4 from each breast during each session. @maxie

I pump and breast feed at the same time then I pump from where she breast fed from then switch it up at every feeding
Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him I get a message that he doesn't have a car so I have to get my son, or he tells me i have to run him out there. I'm already having cut hours at work and getting no child support from him since he's been continuously in and out of work.
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.

my LO is sleeping longer stretches at night now so I power pump usually around 4 am.. but it usually depends on when she decides to eat at night. I usually only pump the one time during weekends and vacation and feed on demand the rest of the time.
