How many shots did you babies get at 2 months?
So people are telling me it's two shots and one oral and then some people are saying no 3 shots and one oral. 3 shots seem like a lot.... Tomorrow my son goes and I'm terrified idk how babies can handle 3 pricks or how the nurses could be the ones to do this lol I'm so scared Ima cry with my son
@ciaramarie, ^ and I agree better to get it over with but 6 shots is way too much versus 3. But my opinion
I hope it by the heel I'll request that! Find a vein on a child that prob won't stay heel sounds terrible lol @coaramarie
I just looked it up @jenna.ocon it is to test for lead & the iron & blood count. Some Drs do it by blood draw some prick the heel and get blood that way.
No my son didn't do the blood draw the same day it was like 2 weeks after. I've never spread shots out I just feel it's easier to just do them and get it over with. My daughter is almost one so I guess I'll figure out if they do the blood draw still & what exactly it was for.
Omg blood drawn too? Plus 6 shots wtf that's torture!! I couldn't let it happen all in a day maybe couple weeks apart that's way too much :/ @ciaramarie
I'd honestly do it all at once to get it over with. But that's up to you (: Idk if all over does it but also at 1 yr old my son had to get his blood drawn to test for lead or something. I can't remember lol he's almost 6, that was too long ago.
Wow that's too much I won't that happen. At 1 yr I'll spread those out
@mommyoftwo35
I like the whole delayed schedule but don't want him to get shots every visits he needs a break that's why it kind of better to do it at once and get it over with. But idk @mommy_faith
I think my daughter had 3 shots 1 oral. Sometimes they combine shots though. I don't think 2 months is one that they combine. At 1year old I think is when they get the most.
You can always do a delayed schedule! That is what we do and it works for us😊
Right. I don't remember my son getting 6. Because they combine some of them. I think the most my kids have gotten at once is 4. And the blood draw, I know every kid is different but it wasn't too bad for my son. I just had to hold him so he couldn't move. Just like you do to give them a shot.
