Why can't people just let others parent how they want to? I'm so over seeing people attack moms who choose not to vaccinate 🙄🙄🙄
@jleona some mistake passion of a topic for attacking. 2018, having a different opinion can be muzzled mislabled as attacking. Just like everything is a trigger warning
@tinyhumansbitch, I tried researching that exact thing last night for sooo long and really didn’t find any actual statistics or credible sources (like a cdc study or even any .org website) but I did figure out that it’s because they’re not 100% effective and so the logic is why risk that 7% chance or whatever it is for each vaccine, especially since some of these things we vaccinate against someone could have and maybe not be showing symptoms of yet. But I’ve never asked anyone my daughter plays with if they vaccinate and idk if I ever will lol
@its.sarah I'm not hype at all. You came on my post telling me you were annoyed. Just dnt look, problem solved 😂😂😂
@toomuchgab of course it bothers me. You dnt have to think it's okay, just like I dnt think it is okay to ATTACK mothers who choose not to vaccinate. It still doesn't make it right whether you like it or not. Attacking them doesn't make them change their minds.....
Op does it not bother you that your child could catch a potentially life threatening disease because there are parents in this world who decide not to vaccinate their kids? Has that gone over your head? I’m all for letting Mothers have their own parenting style and practices, but this is one I will never think is okay.
I’ve been to public school, private school, homeschool and all the ones I went to require you to get your children vaccinated so I’ve been fully vaccinated and I don’t have autism, and I’ve never had a life threatening disease, and I’m thankful that my parents got me vaccinated so I am doing the same with my son because I love him, and I don’t want to see him in pain, or close to death, or dead, and I trust that the lord put medicine/vaccines in this world for a reason, I trust that lord will watch over my son like he has watched over me my entire life.
@proudmommyoftwo_, Some private schools also require for kids to get their vaccines me and my husband went to a private Christian school and they required us to get our vaccines
@proudmommyoftwo_, I plan on homeschooling but I still get my son vaccinated I had to get shots before they allowed my mom to enroll me in homeschool, some homeschools have you vaccinate your children, I mean my mom vaccinated us but she was late on one of my vaccines so I had to get it before I could be homeschooled
@its.sarah okay? Be annoyed. Keep scrolling then. I never defended people who dnt vaccinate. I simply said I dnt like seeing them attacked. Idgaf who feels what. It's my page and my post. And please know what you're talking abt. Someone said to me "it's not our job to care or consider what you like and dnt like". So I'll say it again for you and anyone else who doesn't get it. I did NOT ask any of you to care or consider. Now move along 😘✌️
I do understand your post as you just stating your opinion on moms being attached by their choices. Not saying that your anti vaccination or whatever but you keep saying “it’s my post I didn’t ask y’all to care or consider “ is kind of annoying. You know damn well people would reply to your sensitive topic with their opinion as well.
@fuhgeddaboudit, my oldest had the flu vaccine once, she must have gotten her shot from a “bad batch” but she was in the hospital for 3 days! I told myself never again! I just couldn’t allow any of my children to suffer the way she did. Fortunately none of them have had the flu shot since then or had the flu. Thank God! I worked in healthcare for 4 years before I became a SAHM and so I had to get the flu shot and it has made me sick every time. Needless to say, I’m not getting it again for as long as I can avoid it. Again, this is a personal choice. A lot of people have no adverse effects to the flu shot, some aren’t so fortunate. 😫
@lost.sock.thief understandable. you have your opinion and I have mine. Still don't like seeing ppl get attacked, regardless of what anyone says 🤷
@briannalynn547 but that's the weird thing... It's MY post. I never asked yall to care or consider a thing, at all. Simply stated I dnt like seeing ppl attacked over it lol ✌️
@fuhgeddaboudit, omg YES!!! ...except the flu vaccine lol. I hear flu shot and I 🏃♀️ lol but of course that’s a personal choice.
@proudmommyoftwo_, yup! But then you still have to worry about your child being in contact with a child that is not vaccinated in public places like the park, zoos, museums etc.
Some ppl like to argue that's all I know.. Agree to disagree.. Vaccinate don't vaccinate.. I know of ppl who opted not to and home school their kids.. I know ppl that have gone the vaccination route and some are satisfied and dissatisfied. Some ppl it's for religious views or health etc.. Whatever the reason it's personal and opinions are like ass holes everyone has one. I get what @jleona is saying.. Have an opionion and reason for your beliefs that's ok but don't humiliate or bash ppl. It's not illegal to not vaccinate its a choice.
@jleona, and it’s no ones job to care or consider what you like and don’t like🤷🏻♀️ cause not vaccinating a child is ridiculous and completely uncalled for unless they physically can’t get it . End of story .
@jleona, ...... you’re a bad person if you don’t consider other people’s children’s health, especially when it comes to life or death situations....
@lost.sock.thief, that picture literally gave me the chills.
@lost.sock.thief it's not anyone else's job to consider your child tho when it comes to their decision of vaccinating their OWN child lol. Either way, I am still against attacking someone. Never said you couldn't do it, I just dnt like it 🤷
@knockout, @pipoca, @idontwant2bapie, ^^^^^ yalls main point
@jleona, I will verbally attack someone for putting my child’s life in danger.
@jleona, You know what attacks? Measles, polio... etc. 👎🏽
@idontwant2bapie okay? So make your own post abt it. Like I said "I'm so over seeing people attack moms who choose not to vaccinate". I didn't ask "what do you ladies not like" 😂😂😂
@idontwant2bapie that's fine. You dnt have to like the choice they make, but for the millionth time I still dnt like seeing them be attacked.
Btw I’m saying thank you on all of the comments that are making great points on why we gotta speak up about everyone needing vaccinations
... it’s medical neglect to not vaccinate!
@knockout what?? I choose MOST vaccinations my damn self I just dnt like seeing people be attacked. I dnt understand why you can't comprehend that 😂🤦🤦
What if they lived in another country?!? Would they still choose not to vaccinate🤔
@dontspankme never said she was. My post says "I'm over seeing people ATTACK moms who choose not to vaccinate". Doesn't mention a thing abt speaking up.. A healthy debate or conversation is cool, ATTACKING is not.
@jleona, 🧐 you sound like someone hurt you deep.
@knockout I said their kid, their CHOICE. Meaning, regardless of whether you like it or not they shouldn't be attacked for choosing to do something different than you. Never said you had to agree or like it, but attacking someone for what THEY choose to do isn't right. Period.
@jleona, when people don’t vaccinate it affects everyone. So “their kid their issue” doesn’t apply here
@blakeslatinmama, there’s a fb page called “things antivaxxers say” and “we love GMOS and vaccines” they have the best memes EVER
@scx their kid, their choice. Still doesn't justify attacking. Nobody ever said I personally dnt vaccinate lol...
@proudmommyoftwo_, I went to a private school and most of them require vaccinations too. Maybe there are a ton of homeschooling parents out there. 🤔 lol even the daycare for my toddler requires immunizations if there’s no legitimate medical reason as to why they can’t be vaccinated.
Polio, is in Venezuela again, so many outbreaks of measles, all across America and Europe.
After people started to stop vaccinating.
This is just the beginning of the dangers, can’t even begin to explain how dangerous it is to an individual kid to not be vaccinated, they could literally get a deadly disease. They can die or become severely brain damaged for life from these deadly diseases.
Elders, newborns, And pregnant women are so much more at risk when people are not vaccinating.
I just don’t even know where on earth to begin with this and how to stress it enough.
I shouldn't have to keep my child away from kids because their parents decided to be careless. But that's just my opinion. 🤷🏻
@tyvae Girl I just thought of that to like hold on wait a minute 😂😂 because majority of these schools require vaccinations im not sure about private schools but I know for a fact public schools its mandatory.
@proudmommyoftwo_, that was my thought too. How do they enroll in schools that require vaccinations...
Good question...
Well I think they think because they do it that other should to.. But I trying to figure out if I want to vaccinate this child so I know I'm probably won't do all of the fascinating but some of them I'll probably would be. Still working on thet thou..
When it comes to car seat safety and vaccines , I just can’t keep my mouth shut . There’s no reason for these things needing to be repeated . People are more scared of having an autistic kid then a kids who’s severely/deathly ill . That’s how I see it since their main argument is autism 🤷🏻♀️
How selfish must parents be to choose not to vaccinate their kids? You were vaccinated when you were a child and it’s protected you from measles, mumps polio ETC and you don’t want your child to be protected from the same things? Idgaf, you’re trash if you won’t provide the same type of protection that you got, for your kids. ✌🏼
@jleona So for the ones who choose not to vaccinate how the hell they kids gone get in school 🤔 I guess they must plan on home schooling or something lol
But don't they have to be vaccinated if they start public school?
@newlyironman, agreed! Some are quick to say “I feel attacked” just because someone else is voicing an opinion.
@jleona some mistake passion of a topic for attacking. 2018, having a different opinion can be muzzled mislabled as attacking. Just like everything is a trigger warning
Not your kid... Not your problem. EXCEPT when not vaccinating has shown a rise in mumps, measles, and pertussis. All of which were on the decline until a mass rise in anti- vaccine took place
@knockout I was using it exactly how I said it. And I was only speaking on vaccines, not carseats. Telling a mom her choice not to vaccinate is stupid or wrong especially when an opinion isn't asked for isn't cool at all and I dnt like seeing it.
@jleona, A lot of times “attack” is used very dramatically. I don’t agree with attacking someone. But telling someone vital advice (example: car seat safety) shouldn’t be considered attacking. But Iv seen a lot of people take it that way. But again, I agree attacking should be avoided
“It takes a village to raise a child”
No one means any harm when giving advice. And on the subject of vaccines; that choice doesn’t only effect your child.
I made a post similar to this the other day. I was at the park with my kids and this lady decided to start a conversation on her being anti vaccination and how I shouldn’t vaccinate my children blah blah blah. Speaking from experience, it seems that anti vacc moms are always ready to push their beliefs on others and this is just from what I’ve encountered. If you choose not to vaccinate your children then that’s your choice but if I can help it I’m going to remove MY children from the “situation.”
As a child advocate I will always say something if I think a child is in danger or being mistreated in any way. It is our responsibility as a society to protect those that cannot protect themselves. But when it comes to every day parenting choices, I don't care what other parents choose to do. They have the right to parent as they see fit.
I vaccinate and my son hasn’t been sick once hasn’t even ran a fever after having his shots God has truly blessed him, I also have been blessed to have never been attacked by anyone for getting my son vaccinated, and if I ever did get attacked then I’d tell them that my son is none of their concern, and if the continued to put their nose where it doesn’t belong then I’d tell them that no matter what they say I will continue to do what I think is best for my child, and that hasn’t got anything to do with them so they just need to walk on, and mind their own business. How I choose to parent or what I choose is best for my son isn’t effecting anyone else’s life so it shouldn’t matter to anyone else. People shouldn’t go around telling other people what to do with their children that’s not how life works but some control freaks don’t understand that.
My son had a terrible reaction that sent him to the emergency room at 2 months so he hasn’t been vaxxed since and won’t be. I don’t judge any parents who vaccinate but encourage everyone to become more aware of the risks and weigh the pros and cons. Once I became informed of all these I chose to stop vaccinating hands down. I don’t care what anyone says to me or about me because in the end I’m my sons first and last line of defense and YES I do know more than his pediatrician who’s pushing vaccines on me and I do know more than the nurses at the emergency room who said my sons fever and seizures was a “normal” reaction and yes I do know more than any other parent who wants to chime in about my choices as a mother. Mother’s always know best when it comes to their kids and for those who haven’t had a bad reaction to vaccines you’re lucky but I’m not playing Russian roulette with my son anymore
I see it happen so often. If it’s not your kid, then don’t worry about it! We’re all here to support each other, not to judge and attack.🤦♀️
I haven't vaccinated my daughter and she is perfectly healthy thank God. And hasn't been sick once. Everyone I know whos kids are vaccin are always sick 😬🤷♀️ .
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...

some girls should shut the hell up .. they always say if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it ! I hate judgmental people with closed minded views .
Not your kid... Not your problem. EXCEPT when not vaccinating has shown a rise in mumps, measles, and pertussis. All of which were on the decline until a mass rise in anti- vaccine took place
