@lovingmydaughter, What they are doing is normal with my first two I got a confirmation sono down syndrome scan anatomy scan then third trimester scan ...with the twins I been getting sono since day one and that's because of twin risk but as long as the baby good you good I wouldn't stress it trust me I get ultrasounds every week now and I'm always worried even tho all is well I think because I have to go often I worry more so try not to stress it...

Yea love it's normal, I have an ultrasound every week & now they put the monitor straps on me after to make sure she's breathing ok and her movement is right because I'm high risk

yeah i jad 1 ultrasound and then an anatomy scan so i got to see him twice. i asked for another one and they said it was unnecessary because everything looks normal. i was irritated by it at first but im over it lol ill see him when he desides to pop out.

they start after 35 weeks checking position at my dr . sounds about what i went thru too just bring it to there attention ud like to be checked for babys measurements sooner

haven't actually seen my baby since 20 weeks, I should see him when I go back next week at 35. some drs don't check all the time as long as everything is going fine

your only supposed to really have 1 ultrasound & they dont weigh ur baby or anything unless its necessary (high-risk pregnancy) & they usually feel to see if the babys head down. i was upset about it also but my doctor told me she doesn't see anything wrong everything is going good. but if u want to see the baby u can go outside the doctors but it will cost money.

@yulianna007, rude! what makes her think you dont want to see your baby 😑 I don't know if my daughter is head down or how much she weigh ... they're gonna have to tell me more my next appointment.

I went today they took urine sample, blood pressure, listen her heartbeat + sono,they told me the weight and baby's position, but sono tech didn't even show me her. She did everything so fast)I am going to see doctor in 2 weeks

You aren't supposed to do anything else unless you are high risk. That is a normal doctor visit except for the different doc every time.

That's how it is for me too! I just take it as every thing is going good and healthy. if they were to do more, it would probably just be because of high risk or other problems.

I just want to see her and how much she weighs but thanks guys this made me look at things different.

I think ur seeing different doctors too Bc they want u to get acquainted to all the doctors at least that's what they do at my doctors Bc anyone of them can be on call when I go into labor @lovingmydaughter

well I just had my 4th ultrasound today I'm 21 weeks and 5 days some doctors say it may be the last one and some make u have an ultra sound every 6 to 4 weeks some doctors are different but defiantly tell ur doctor u want another one

I was reading some stuff my Ob gave me in the beginning i guess I have to see the other dr as well at least a few times in my third ??? My old Ob delivered his own I only saw him and he delivered my two , so this will be new for me too

That's standard. I haven't seen my baby since 20 weeks through my doctor. I did a 3D one at 28 at an elective ultrasound place. But what you described is what my doctor does at all of my appointments and I am now going once a week.

I think every doctor is different. That's all I get done at my appointments and my last sonogram was at 20 weeks! I know it's frustrating though

that's pretty much been my experience too. I'm 35+4, my last ultrasound was 22 weeks. at my appointments I give a urine sample, they check blood pressure, measure fundal height, and listen to his heartbeat. maybe max of 10 minutes.
