Took my daughter to the doc today she was 15lb 6oz she 8 months now and at her 6 months check up she was 15lb is it bad she's only gained 6 oz since her 6 month checkup ??? Her doc didn't say anything about it
How do you discipline an 11 month old? Shes been so bad lately and if you tell her no she doesn't listen.
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
mommys who co-sleep Did you tell lo doctor you were co-sleeping? What is the response im going to get from her dr this month? She is almost 6 months and weve been co-sleeping since 4 months. She starts the night out in bed until she wakes up to eat, and then she comes into my bed.
weight for 6 month old Yesterday I had a wic appt for dd2. She is 6 1/2 months and weighs 13 lbs. Is this too big? They told me she was over weight! Her pedi had me supplement bc she wasn't gaining anything. She had only gained 4oz in a month and a half. Now wic is saying she's too big for her age... Are they right??
My 12 week old screams basically all the time now...is this normal?? I thought this was supposed to improve by now. I'm going crazy. The doc suggested reflux a long time ago so she put her on meds. Did absolutely nothing. When we went in for her 2mos shots she was screaming her head off before even getting the shots so the doc upped her dosage of reflux meds. Done that for like a month now and no change. We had one day she screamed so much that she started refusing to eat and got dehydrated and we ended up at the hospital. She was great for a couple of weeks but now it's like she screams constantly when she gets tired and she seems tired frequently. She barely smiles anymore or even coos. Just screams. Its starting to get hard on my marriage and our relationships with her.

that's something to look into. ask a doctor if he/she don't seem concerned you may need to find another doctor. cause 6oz in 6months is something to think about

No I mean since her 6 month check up in May she was15 lb and now she's 15 lb 6oz

Hmm hard to say. that may be normal. I would ask another doctor to get a second opinion. Just to be on the safe side. 😘

I dont think it's concerning. my 14 month old only weighs 22.5 pounds. if they didn't say anything you're fine. @anmarie1 did they say anything about what percentile she was in?

so has my son and my doctor wasn't worried. he's in the 50th percentile.

Okay ya she's always been on the small side and they tell me it's because me and her dad aren't very big I'm only 5'2 105lb and her dads like 5'8 @nichole_lynn today it was just like woe her other times when she was weighed she would gain at least 1lb

Okay thank you @nichole_lynn and could teething mess with her weight gain she just cut 3 teeth in the past two months and it says she's in the 10th and she's always been around that for her weight

She should be ok. Maybe that's just how her rate of growing is. I try not to worry about the "average weight" because all babies are different and grow at different rates.
