mommys who co-sleep
Did you tell lo doctor you were co-sleeping? What is the response im going to get from her dr this month? She is almost 6 months and weve been co-sleeping since 4 months. She starts the night out in bed until she wakes up to eat, and then she comes into my bed.
Our pediatrician asks and has brought it up everytime sense the first time asking, if I still co sleep my LO. Yes!! Lol she's 9 months now(: she said it was dangerous back when my DD was 2 months and stuff and told me she's had moms whom have really hurt there baby's bad while co sleeping. But now she just says well I've warned you before. Try getting her down in her own bed. I've tried but we both just sleep so much better together I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
Thank you so much! I just didnt want to lie to my dr and feel guilty and like a horrible mom! Because i didnt want to tell her! I know the nurse will ask for sure but i have yet to find a nurse i actually like
I tell them he sleeps in his crib. Which is half true. Sometimes he sleeps in his crib and sometimes he sleeps in my bed with me. But I'm not going to listen to a lecture every time. They always ask if baby sleeps in a crib on his back with nothing else in the crib. I just say yes.
What's a safe way to co-sleep? I tried once with my lo and it only lasted about 2 hours before I decided to put him back in his bed. I was extremely nervous and didn't dare move a muscle for fear of suffocating him. All 3 of my kids slept in their own beds.
I have always wondered how it's done in a safe way
I actually just changed pediatricians after 11 years because one of the Drs in the practice lectured me about cosleeping and when I told her that I am very aware of how to cosleep safely her response was 'remember that when you wake up to your dead baby'. Needless to say there is no way we were going back there. My kids are going to be going to my nurse practitioner who I LOVE!
My daughter's pedi didn't really say much about bed sharing but my mil sure likes to run her mouth about how my daughter will be in our bed forever and blah blah. Even if that's true she doesn't need to run her mouth about it every time I see her. She's a real peach ? sorry guess I needed to vent lol
My pedi knows I bed share. She just said to let her know if I have trouble transitioning my kids to their beds. My son has struggled and still gets in my bed at 4 yrs old. My 8.5 month daughter will sleep anywhere, anytime. She frequently falls asleep face down in the floor while playing! She STTN 2 nights ago; I had to get her to dream feed to relieve my boobs!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I lie and say he sleeps in his cot to avoid lectures.
