So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
this girl from back home posted pictures on Facebook of her abortion.. now I'm pro choice. personally I would never get one but I can't stop anyone from having one ether but for her to post them like she is proud.. idk after having a hard time conciving it breaks my heart.. I blocked her from everything I don't wanna see something like that it shouldn't be shared with the world anyways. and she got one because "her baby daddy didn't want it because he didn't think it was his, and she didn't wanna have it then him find out she cheated"...

I feel ya! we're about too move in with mine, I'm five months along and she hasn't asked one time how my pregnancy/baby is or how her step granddaughter is but posts pictures of her granddaughter on Fb and shit. I have 4000 dollars worth of baby stuff I got alone, her son, my boyfriend- hasn't paid for shit
then she gets mad and says I didn't leave anything for her to get and its my fault cuz I didn't tell her what the baby needed. seriously if she doesn't know what a baby needs she has no common sense.
