Thinking of a way to approach my boyfriend about me not going back to work after baby, and just focus on school. I have a degree already but I'm just not satisfied with my pay and I want to change careers. When I say it out load it just sounds selfish though. The only reason I'm considering it is because he just graduated from his 5 year apprenticeship and that comes with a huge raise and he'll be more than 100,000 a year if he keeps steady work, and I think that is reasonable to live off of for a little while that way I can go back to school and be making waaaaay more than I make now, the sacrifice I think will be waaaaay worth it. Idk if he'll go for it though.

I understand but if he not on board than it shouldn't stop you from doing what you think is best, he should see where you're coming from and why. Good luck mama

That's my other thing too, I know I'm going to want to be home with him. My mom is suppose to be watching him when I go back to work, but she already has so much on her plate with taking care of our uncle with Alzheimer's and I don't think it's fair to be putting all that stress on her! @deafmama16

You will want to spend more time with the baby as soon he or she comes and you can still do school just at home if it works for you. As a parents we have to make sacrifices to do better in life for our child so hopefully he be on bored with it.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?
