Ok.. I don't know that I need advice so much as support right now (ok some advice for sure). My son is just over three months old and the most I've ever been away from him is when he was in the living room with his father while I was in the shower. I trust my husband and know that he loves Landen and will take just as much care with him as I do. I also know that I do need some adult time and have a wine time date tomorrow with some ladies in the area. I'm so nervous to leave him and all I do is think about what COULD go wrong (I literally think about the worst case in every scenario we encounter). I lost a pregnancy two years before I found out I was pregnant with Landen and I think that has a lot to do with me worrying about everything related to him.. I have spent almost a year making sure that he and I are both healthy and safe. I really want to go tomorrow, but my anxiety is starting to kick in and I'm thinking of ways to talk myself out of going.

I would try running to go get dinner or quick stop at the gas station without the baby. I went to get my phone changed over. it'll get better
The place I'm going is right up the road and he agreed to stay at home (for my sake), so I can get home quick if I start to meltdown.. He wants me to get my nails done, but that's a couple hour commitment and I'm not ready for that..
I had a MC 6 months before I found out I was pregnant and my baby is only a month old and I left him with my sister for 30 mins while I went up the road I literally felt like I was having a panic attack. I would try and slowly spend time away like start with 10 then go up from there
Yea, first time will be with daddy. He's been very understanding with my anxiety, but he keeps saying I should go out w the ladies or go get my nails done. Just do something nice for muself. I refused to leave him with the grandparents first time around. Plus it was the first few weeks of his life and I wanted to hold him every second.. People who have never lost don't understand the attachment to the babies we have gotten to get to know!!
You need to go out! You're leaving him with daddy, yeah? That's a good start. You never know what could happen where you need to have a grandparent or babysitter or something overnight or for a significant period of time. I know exactly how you feel. My daughter is my rainbow baby and this one will be as well. I had a miscarriage at 18, had my daughter at 20, had a miscarriage last year, and now I'll be 23 when this baby is born.
