I have Medela breast pump and a spectra and I must say, SPECTRA ALL THE WAY. it's a hospital grade that IS COVERED by insurance without a special prescription. it has a led screen that also times how long you been pumping, different massage modes, and it's a closed off system so milk can't get into the tubes and cause bacteria and eventually mold unlike medela. it's more comfortable and it features a built in light for night pumping and a cup holder for I guess whatever you need lol. it already comes with all the accessories unlike with medela where you must purchase separately. if you are going to get a breast pump thru insurance, go spectra all the way (I have an s2) you can't go wrong with a hospital grade and you can't beat all the amazing features it has. also, it's more stylish!

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
