Finally ordered my medela pump in style breast pump online through yummy mummy and my insurance... Not sure why I waited so long since it's free and you only have to type in a few things but no longer procrastinating it's done 😄😄😄

@sadezbenz, that one is called yummy mummy but I used my husbands insurance. You can call your insurance and they can give you the details of your plan and where you can get them for free
@twinmamma2015, definitely the worst that can happen is they say no... I'm going to get online tonight when my husband is home and see if I can do an application online or something
what's the website? I've been trying to find things like this. my wic office said they wouldn't even help until the baby is born. I'm not sure why
you can look it up, it's at your local health department. call and make an appointment, if they say no you have lost nothing, if they say yes then great they give you some food while your prego and food if you breastfeed. if you use formula they give formula and they will help with baby food when the time comes. Again even try for food stamps after the baby is born
@twinmamma2015, right I'm going to ask my doctor where to go. I have no idea where anything is and I told my husband he pays $1000 a month in child support for one kid that should take us down a little plus adding a little one but he is just like you are wasting your time
never hurts to try, even try for food stamps after the baby is born! even if they say no its not like you lost anything

@sassymama29, definitely good to ask, I would have never known thankfully I spoke up at the WIC office or I wouldn't have known. I unfortunately wasn't able to continue breastfeeding, definitely harder to do with twins but I was able to for 5 weeks and the pump helped!!!

@rhonda.otero, they should have electric pumps there but you should be able to have a lactation specialist help you anytime you need. I had them help me every time I nursed to make sure I was doing it right
well the WIC office gave me bigger cannulas, (the part that goes onto your boobie) that helped better, but if you don't have WIC you can get parts at the baby stores. But when you get it you can talk to a lactation specialist and make sure they're the right size for you. but other than that didn't need to buy anything for it.
@twinmamma2015, that makes me nervous because if she doesn't latch in the hospital I want to be able to pump and not with the manual pumps if that is still what they use in the hospital

my insurance sent me that one but wouldn't send it till they were born but it was sent overnight so it was here when I got home from the hospital so it all worked out lol! it's a good one!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
