got into a major fight last night with my fiance. he thinks that he's doing such a great job at being here and supporting us because he works. I tried to explain that there's more to it then just working and sleeping. i tried to tell him that attention, appreciation, and the "small things" are still needed. he said I was just being selfish. how would he feel if I just stopped the love notes, the praising, the love I give him, the way he's done to me? what then? our son is going to be born sick, I've been sick since before we got pregnant, and getting him to do ANYTHING with me is near impossible. I do not think we are going to last!!!😞

Tell him that you appreciate his input but he doesn't control you. If you wanna work from home that's your choice. I would understand if it was a job that you had to do a lot of standing and walking but if it's an at home job I don't see what the problem is

he works, but his work is sitting at a front desk at a hotel checking people in. and in this town, it's hardly ever busy except a few holidays throughout the year. i want to work but HE won't let me, even told me after our son is here that I'm NOT allowed to. so that's on him. yes I'm high risk, and on bed rest, but I can work from home. but he won't let me

Hang in there momma. My fiancé is the same way. And honestly I've been on the verge of leaving him so many times. But I have to look back and see that he works so much and he is tired. I'm sure he still loves you very much. But having a baby changes the both of you :/ you may be dealing with pregnancy but he's dealing with the anxiety of having to support you and baby. I know it's hard right now but things will get better :)

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Mormon ladies I tried looking up a Mormon group but the last post was like 18mos ago. I grew up LDS but left the church when I was 16 for personal reasons. I'm not here to bash or anything. I just have a question. So my dad doesn't do well with being alone. He was married at 20 with my mom for 13 years. 3 months after the divorce he married my stepmom. He converted to LDS and was sealed in the temple. She passed this last October due to cancer. Well he's been friendly with my younger brothers economics teacher from last semester. He's not very open about talking about it so I don't pry. I just want him to be happy. He told me tonight, "let's put it this way, I can see myself married in a year." I don't have a problem with that I'm just wondering how that works. When your sealed to your spouse in the temple you will be together for eternity (after death) do you get sealed again if you remarry in the temple to another LDS member? Is it a choice to be sealed? He's pretty active so I'm not sure his stance on her converting and having a temple marriage.
