Yesterday's estimated weight on my baby during the ultrasound he weighed 7lb 11oz do you think he will fit into newborn…

definitely get more 0-3 they grow fast maybe a couple newborn outfits but not many

my son was 8.9lbs and 23 inches and he fit 3 month clothes lol

I'm taking some of both just Incase US are known to be off by more than a lb either way

Oh yeah..my son was 6.6 and newborns were too big..despite how big u look so.etimes baby really aint that big lol but yes I'd say buy newborn..and 0-3 months lol some newborn clothes are smaller than other newborn clothes it's wierd

for an 8 lb baby no he's not gonna fit in newborn clothes but I would take some of both if I were u. Take 0-3 months. I only say that because my cousin just had her baby and she was 8lb 4 oz and she had to jump into 0-3 month clothes and #1 diapers. everything newborn was out the question lol

@perhsice, I have a lot of both we were gifted soooo many clothes it's ridiculous and I'm prepared for him to possibly not fit newborns for long but I mean the hospital day do you think if he did happend to be around 8 newborns would be too small ?

I'm wondering the same thing ! At my 36 week ultrasound baby girl was already about 7 pounds I'm sure by time I go into labor she'll be closer to 8 . She's tall like her daddy :)

I had read some were that the newborn clothes fit till about 8lbs so that's why I was so confused lol I don't want to take all these extra clothes to the hospital but I want him to look cute too lol @brandylemonds15 ftm struggles hahaha :)

@fairhmommy, I had read about that ... That's why I asked ok I'll def just take both thank you 💙💙and his weight an estimate so who knows he could be smaller or larger so both would be on the safe side

to be honest mamas...you may not even have ur baby in clothes at all when ur at the hospital..I brought so many clothes and my son wore not one outfit lmao..we were both naked as hell the whole 3 days lmao..alot of skin to skin time is good for ur baby tho cuz when they come out everything is new to them even the way u feel because they r used to being warm inside lol..especially clothes r gunna feel weird to them

it depends on his height also but just bring 1 in each size ...and dont beleive the clothing size 😂😂 youll learn and see how quick clothes go to waste because he grew so fast so he never wore it

Me either ! My cousin told me to leave room in babies bag for all the goodies the hospital sends you home with but now I'm worried her clothes won't fit !! I seen on one of my newborn outfits that it will fit up to 8 pounds I think I'll recheck after I eat

@baybiboo, agreed !! But my family we have a lot of preachers and people from the church will be there so I can't just have him wild and out all jungle boy status my parents would freak so just in case I'll take both thank you :)

really all u need is 2 days worth for natrual perfectly fine birth (they'll only keep u over night usually)

. 3 days worth of clothes (if u have an episiotomy) ..a week's worth for c-section

r u wanting to breast feed? if so..and baby had problem latching. .make sure u ask the hospital for some nipple shields I heard they make it way easier..my nurses didn't even mention these damn things lol

@perhsice, yes that's what I heard my cousin recently had her baby and poor thang but nothing new borns and her daughter stayed in newborns for three months lol you just never know how it goes ...@brandylemonds15 Yess I heard that too Eveyone says to let the hospital stock you up but you can always add her things they give you to your bag or purse or something plus they have those clear hospital bags of you needed to move around things

jungle boy ahahahahahh...I had hella stitches so I just didn't give a fuck I was in too.much pain..I think about 30 nurses have seen my titties now ahahaha

My son was 8 lbs 9.6 oz and 20 1/2 in long and he was in NB clothes for about a month maybe a little longer

I'm packing alittle extra because I'm going in for surgery right after she's born so I don't know if they will send her home without me I just want to be prepared I'm taking an empty bad with me to put anything the hospital gives me in

Being pregnant in general just makes any insecurities or having any personal boundaries go straight out the window lol my husband was like you dropped your panties faster for these people on the first visit then you did for me I'm like oh lord lol but righttt I've had so many doctors all inside my goods this pregnancy ahahah

I'm not gonna be able to breastfeed sadly I wanted to soo bad but my dr said it probably won't be possible . I wish I knew to its so nerve wracking not knowing

u never know miricle happen everyday..there's a bunch of stuff u can try to up ur supply...I know how u feel tho I only got to nurse for 2 months untill my son REFUSED so I dried up ..mothers milk (tea) and beer (after giving birth obviously lol) help u lactate usually

One I have flat nipples (sorry if that's tmi ) and 2 with them putting me to sleep and the pain meds my dr thinks it's just something that won't be possible for me this time we were discussing ways to work around my nipples and stuff before we realized I'd have to have the surgery right away we thought id be able to wait a few months @baybiboo

A couple Saturday's ago I wa sin labor and delivery and it was a man and he had put on his gloves and told me to relax and spread my legs and my husband was just mean mugging him it was sooo funny and when he walked out he was like oh that's all it takes is some blue gloves I had to whine and dine you first ahhaha it was def more akward bc I have had only female doctors and there hands are a lot smaller :/ lol ahahha @baybiboo

lmao ur husbands too funny ahaha..nah it's ok I had flat nips too hahahha..surgery for what if u don't mind me asking?..I heard it's better to have a male anyways because they don't truely know what u go through so they tend to be more sensitive and gentle

Haha it's okay :) @baybiboo it's nothing to serious I'm just having my gallbladder removed it's packed full of stones and they're worried with the surge of hormones after labor it could rupture or something else equally bad . They were considering removing it while I was pregnant but it was just to much risk to baby girl

Carter was 7.8 and wore newborn size for the first 2 months. he was even back up to his birth weight at 4 days old. but I would take a couple outfits in each size. also the weights in ultra sounds aren't super accurate

Honestly I eat everything I just (weigh out my food and keep it under so many calories ) may sound crazy but it helps me from going wild and out so I have indulged in every desire just to a minimum but 40 isn't bad everyone's different and I see sooo many posts were right after the baby they loose the weight hopefully that will happen for us too (fingers crossed ) do you know how much your baby weighs ?
