single mothers , when did your little one ask about their dad ? I know alaina is still young but I'm not sure what to say to her when shes able to notice he isn't here but I will ask her if she wants to contact him
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
I can't believe it My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was for a microwave she bought me and her air mattress. When she got the microwave, it was a gift. Then when my son was in the hospital from October to January out of town, I was going to get my internet service turned off until I returned home. My cousin was doing school work online, so I paid for it while I was away so she could use it. I'm trying to figure out a response to her. ?

Wit my son he began asking when he was bout 5 yrs old, and now he is 7 yrs; and I just told him we didn't get along but he can't still talk/see him if he wants too and he choose not to... Wit my daughter she's 3 and till this day she hasn't asked bout him at all...

its going to be difficult for my son he only sees his dad sometimes when he makes time to see him which is rare. I've never thought about how I would explain it to him or if he will even remember who his dad is.

@alainalovesmommy, he's seen him quiet a few times but its like a hour or so then he leaves then won't come see him for weeks.But I know they have to see them a lot to be able to remember. since my son barely remembers some of my family members
