My boy is 6 days old today and is ALWAYS really hungry. I put him on one side then when he fusses he goes to the other but is still hungry. I pump the rest out of each side and give it to him and he's up in the next hour to eat again..... Any suggestions? Formula makes him sick and gives him a bad belly ache

Oh yeah the first 2-3 months my baby ate about every 5-10 minutes. It's totally normal. It's called cluster feeding. She's 6 months now and eats on a schedule (she created the schedule). It gets better

this can help with growth spurts but no you are not starving him even if they act like it when they are hungry. my son is about to be 7 months old & when he sees me he acts like i never feed him lol good luck hun

They're supposed to eat every hour or two at first. It may be frustrating but completely normal at that age

no you are actually fine. adding formula will actually make it worse because you are taking a feeding away from him which will tell your body you don't need that milk when you do. just keep feeding on demand. I'm not going to lie it'll be like this for the first 3 months or so it'll get easier & it's so worth it.

that's super normal. it's a growth spurt. the next few months they'll have one every couple weeks. it's telling your body how much milk to make
