🙋🏻Ladies I need to ask a Question! I was on nuvaring after having my boy 6 months ago but the hormones were making me depressed and hair loss, etc it was bad, So I've stopped. Was thinking of getting an IUD specifically Paraguard because it's no hormones but I'm scared because I've heard it can get lodged and have to be removed painfully.. And periods are extremely bad on it Anyone had any good/bad experiences?

I love the paraguard it would recommend it a million times but not the 5 year one that one gave me overian cysts

I had mine for five years until my body expelled it on its own (no reason). The IUD got stuck in my cervix and it was painful as fuck! But then exactly a month after getting it removed I got pregnant! I had heavier periods in the beginning, but I have PCOS so even after I got my ParaGuard IUD in 2010 I had irregular periods. Overall, great experience for me.

My sister in law had IUD and she kept getting yeast infections. I personally would only take the birth control pill
