Well, here he is. Silas Lawrence Forbush. More perfect than I ever could have imagined. Born at 7:49 am, weighing 7lbs even, measuring 20" exactly. I just want to cuddle him and stare at him forever and ever. Me and daddy are both so very in love with him. He's such a little sweet heart. He scored a 9 on the APGAR test, came out of my belly screaming and impressed the whole c-section staff with his powerful lungs. They said they weren't expecting it since they usually have trouble breathing at first when it's a c-section. Not this kid lol! His pediatrician said that he's healthy in every way, which of course is most important to me! I feel so beyond blessed to have the privilege of being his mommy. It's so surreal to think that I made this tiny human. I'm so in love. Words could never describe what I'm feeling.
aww he's so handsome girl I can't wait for June when I get to c my son I'm jealous
Vaginal labor is so easy I would rather take the contractions any day than to have to have a c section
I’m scheduled for a c section Thursday and I’m a bit nervous.
Have any of you had a c section? If so what was your experience?
Next child
Speaking to my partner tonight about having our next child i ideally don't want another for a few years yet but he turned around and said only on one condition you have a c section ( i got a 3rd degree tear with Oliver) I actually don't want a c section but he said he won't have another child otherwise am I being unfair ? I loved my birth with Oliver i loved that feeling him being placed on me, but he said if I don't have a c section the next baby won't be with him :(
So me and baby are fine.. Doc sent me home with contractions 3 min apart. She said basically she doesn't want to do a vaginal delivery. Having a c section is the last thing I ever thought of. He's not huge yet.. I have very wide hips.. She is just more comfortable with a c section.. There's no medical reason to go to have a c section.. So upset
C-section
So tomorrow I go in for my c-section I was hoping he would make an appearance beforehand so I could get the labour i wanted, but obviously I’ve made such a lovely home for him. Any tips on recovery would be much appreciated please? Xx
He's so beautiful, congrats!!
