The name is Sydnie. I'm a 30 year old hairstylist. My fiancé and I welcomed our son, Silas, to the world on April 13, 2016 at 7:49am via c-section. He was 7lbs even, and 20" long. It was the best moment of my life and I'll never forget it.

Ugh I don't want him to leave again. I've been without him for the past 6 months. I'm so happy he got to come home for two weeks but he's leaving again for a month before we can be together permanently. Yes, I knew what I was getting into by supporting his decision to join the military, but I've always hated that argument. It doesn't make it any easier to be away from him. 💙💕😩

Hubby is on leave for two weeks (he's in the navy) so we had Silas's birthday party while he was home before we move across the country. It was such a cute and memorable day 😍👌🏻🎂

From hubby's boot camp graduation in December. I've seen him 1 time since October 19 and it was only for about 4 hours. He comes home soon for leave before going to C school and I'm SO excited 😍👏🏻

15 weeks old today. This has been the best 15 weeks of my life and it keeps getting better. I love this little boy more and more with each passing minute. I spend nearly all of my time staring at him and playing with him and talking with him. He amazes me. 💙

The smile that instantly melts my heart and soul every time I see it. I would do anything to see that adorably silly, crooked little grin 😍
