My son is 5 months old and despite being told not to, I have always nursed him to sleep at night. He sleeps through the night and if he wakes up, most nights is able to get himself back to sleep... I know babies need to learn to "self soothe" but just wondering from other moms experiences? I'm planning to nurse as long as he wants to btw...
I would nurse my daughter before bed... After 2m (when she got her crib) I stopped letting her nurse to sleep. Then my husband got a chance to put her to sleep & bond with her without being attached to me. My plan was to nurse for a year but I got pregnant & my milk decreased & she started solids so when baby boy gets here I'm sure she'll be ready to start up again
I feed my son to go to sleep. it has never been an issue he also learned how to self sooth. my boyfriend has night shift so if he wakes up he'll change him & try to rock him back to sleep if it doesn't work I'll feed him.
