How do they check?! I'm 38 weeks almost 39 and my ob hasn't checked at all! I have an appointment in the morning and I want to be prepared if she does check! I've heard that it hurts but not sure how they check!

I totally understand your fear though! At my last appt, they had to do a transvaginal US to check on the position of my placenta, and the lady just rammed that wand up there! 😣😣 i just turned my head and cried!!

The one time I had it done she put on gloves, and some lube, and just stuck her hand in me. It was very fast, but extremely painful for me. @jessica1006

I'm scared as fuck too. Scuse the language but for real. I had my cervix checked around 29 weeks cause I was complaining of cramping, boyyy did that shit hurt. I'm not looking forward to the next few weeks at all

That's how it was for me too @rileysmomma16. And this doctor had super small hands so I can't believe it hurt so much that I cried!

Hopefully you get back in the "mood" after the baby comes and hormones go all back to normal 😄

I always feel pretty embarrassed because I'm a huge pussy about anything that has to go on down there. Like during a Pap smear I'm just a freaking wreck. I can't deal!
