I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.

ladies, help! I was almost 100% sure I found a travel system, but put it on layaway due to the following... I'm due dec. 8th and most likely won't be using a stroller until February/March when it's a bit warmer. I figure I can just baby wear, or carry her in her infant seat, since we won't be outside much. In the interest of saving money, should I just buy a car seat now and worry about a stroller later? Or does it make sense to get the whole travel system and be done with it?
When I handed her the keys to the car, this is what I got. I don't think I can ever let her drive. Bahaha
So, I don't know about where yall live...but I just found out kids up till age 12 are supposed to be in a car seat in Florida. 😒 Twelve. Can you believe it?? Well, my kids were out of car seats and booster seats by age 7. Maybe that makes me a bad mom. That, to me, is ridiculous. If they are in the backseat, buckled in with a child safety latch on the belt, and stay buckled in, I don't see the issue here - and I have had four children.

But it could kill her babies. It's not a matter of "every parent does it differently" that's willfully choosing what is not recommended and it's dangerous

It's not judge mental for you to say something. It's called a fact that it's wrong and dangerous if they crash that child mostly likely could die

Omg that is scary. Some people just don't care or don't want to know how to correctly seat their child. I'm paranoid about my daughters car seat so I'm constantly checking to make sure everything is good with it.
