Should I Buy a Car Seat Now or Get a Travel System?
ladies, help! I was almost 100% sure I found a travel system, but put it on layaway due to the following... I'm due dec. 8th and most likely won't be using a stroller until February/March when it's a bit warmer. I figure I can just baby wear, or carry her in her infant seat, since we won't be outside much. In the interest of saving money, should I just buy a car seat now and worry about a stroller later? Or does it make sense to get the whole travel system and be done with it?

@camdensmama, yeah let me know! the graco and baby trend jogger systems seem almost identical. I'd hate to pay almost $100 just for the graco label!

I'd just get the combo, saves money too.... you'd be surprised how much you'll actually use it, that car seat gets heavy! lol

@gabby0317, gotcha! I've seen those. I was just in love with the stroller that came with the travel system I picked out. It was a 3 wheeler jogger, that had great storage space and sat up high which is important because I'm short...But the whole system was around $350. Now I'm wondering if I should save the money and get a used one later?

I would just say get the travel system. If your luck is anything like mine... You will buy just the car seat then won't be able to find the stroller when you are ready to buy it lol 🙊
I did the same but because I got a snap & go as a gift; that helps to carry the carseat around😊
Has anyone used this travel system?? Can you just easily put the car seat right on the stroller??
I got a car seat from a friend and a stroller online the carseat fits in the stroller but the shade won't close :( get a smaller car seat or keep it ?

I want to get a system that I'm gonna get the most use out of. Kids obviously still need car seats after 35lbs, so do you buy a new car seat at that point and then they just sit in the stroller as is?

@levleah, so I went to Walmart today and was messing with their baby trend expedition stroller and it's pretty nice! Mine is the expedition LXE tho! And was cheaper with my coupon. Walmart had there's for $199
