My baby didn't latch right after birth so we've been bottle feeding him. Can i still try to get him to latch, eventually and is it possible for him to know how to bottle and breastfeed after only being bottle fed? I plan on getting a pump as soon as i can because of times that i might not be around him and doing both formulas and breast milk
Those who use nipple shields...how do you like them? i can't get Gunner to latch on and he always gets so frustrated & starts to cry and cry... :( it makes me sad i cant get him to latch...so iv been pumping and putting it in bottles..
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I'm reading reviews on bottles && getting a little worried. . I didn't know baby's have to "latch" on to a bottle.. I thought a bottle was a bottle.. I got the avent bottles that I really wanted && someone also gave me the mam bottled. I want to buy more avent because I only have 10 bottles total. but I don't want to buy it && the baby rejects it. what do you guys think?
Did any moms breastfeed if so how long?I was only able to breastfeed my son for a week or two weeks I had a hard time getting him to latch and I would bleed when he wasnt latched right and they would hurt so bad and leak so much ....any suggestions or tips?🤷🏾 ♀ 🤦🏾 ♀
Bottles / breastfeeding For those of you that breastfeed and pump/bottle feed what kind of bottles do you use? I breastfeed and only use the pumped milk when I go out or if my boyfriend feeds him at night. So he basically gets one bottle a day but the bottles come out way to fast for him and get all over him, I've tried dr browns and the Medela bottles but neither are slow enough. I feel like he's gonna choke. Help.

Definitely. we didn't get a good latch til she was 2 months. She's 10 months and still going strong

@deelovesdash, yeah my nipples have grown twice their original size but they are still small and I'm just positive I will need these.

That's a good deal i look into it because my nipples aren't nearly as big as other moms that i see breastfeeding lol @mommabearto2

my nipples were too small for my daughter so I was so lucky to have a nurse that gave me one of these. I just ordered some just in case for my son. This is off the wish app $1 for 2 nipple shields and $1 for shipping.

You can find a nipple cover at Walmart, I used it cause my baby wouldn't latch, it practically covers your nipple and its in the shape of a bottle nipple plus it protects you from them getting cracked

you can still try there is no telling whether a baby will chose breast over bottle my son chose breastfeeding till he was 7 MO now he will do both but when you do get a pump I'd drop the formula sense youll pump
anyway he can have the pumped milk
