can i take my 3week 3day old baby out? my family really having an issue & bugging me about me taking him out to target or to a restaurant to eat because he hasn't gotten his shots yet he will next week they said he can get really sick and i tried explaining them that I'm breastfeeding and that helps him fight any sickness. idk what to do i can't be stuck at home all day everyday i get depressed.
yes he's just going to be in his stroller covered up sleeping and i wont allow anyone to touch him but me thanks @kelseys @edomke @domxtwo @ananasbaby @babybermea
We took our baby out we had to run errands and stuff I just keep him covered
it's healthy, and also for you very good to get out! happy mommy = happy baby enjoy!
we didn't take my daughter out until she was 8 weeks old. don't let other people touch or hover over him. other wise he can get sick.
Germs is everywhere even in the house u can take him out just keep him covered that's all he shouldn't have to be subjected to the house
He should be fine! It's not like he's going to sit in the cart and touch everything I did with my son and he never got sick because he stayed in his car seat
the doctors recommend not to take them to large public places . I had took my son to the museum before he got his shots and 2 days later he was as sick as a dog . just be careful and don't let too many people get close to the baby if you do decide to go out
he can go out. just don't let strangers touch him, because sometimes they try to. be careful of what he touches if he does, wash his hards. that's really it. I don't believe letting them out before their shots can make them sick but just to be safe I guess.
I personally wouldn't chance it. People are nasty and carry all kind of germs. You don't want to expose him to something that could've been prevented. But some people don't care and do it anyway.
Im a preemie mom so my views are way different but there's soooooo many illnesses going around (cold, flu, rsv, & maybe it's only where I live but the stomach flu is going around too).. I wouldn't risk it until baby at least gets one set of shots if that's possible.
