I'm only 37 weeks but still not dilated, so I was wondering at was week will a doctor induce you? I saw a lot of people induced at 39 weeks, but I read online 41. Any ideas?
I am 28 weeks and my son is already 3 pounds. I am inducing myself at 37 weeks.
It's my turn ladies! Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
for you mommy's asking 39 weeks is the NATIONWIDE standard for induction you can ask to be induced at 39 weeks if B makes it to 39 weeks I will be induced
I always hear about "alot" of ladies getting induced at 37-39 weeks without a medical reason...but I honestly never see these posters. If you were "medically" induced between 37-39 with no medical reason, please share. Straight up being nosey, no judgement 🤷🏾 ♀
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

most doctors won't let you go over 42 weeks with my oldest I was 40 weeks 4days and had her

it depends on the rules at the hospital and or your doctor's office. some are induced early due to complications or concerns.. it would be a good question for your doctor

I was supposed to be induced at 41 weeks but she came on her own at 41 weeks

My doctor will induce in the 39th week, he will not let me pass my due date. He says once you hit 40 weeks there is no benefit to the baby to be inside since they are running out of space.

Depends on the doctor...I'm 40weeks and 4 days now and my doctor said we would talk about induction at my next visit just in case I was still pregnant after my due date which I am....tomorrow at my scheduled appointment I will find out if I'm being induced or not ..... But none will let u go over 42 weeks as a max cut off
